Tomorrow is the fourth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina and the great levee failure of '05. Like all my sites it will go dark in memory of our communal losses.
In the meantime I have an audio flashback to the first comic shop to reopen after the storm.
On Nov. 30th following the deluge I was back amidst the wreckage and had the good fortune to interview DC Harbold, one of the proprietors of More Fun Comics.
More Fun was the first comic book shop open in the wake of the storm, and even in the disaster zone we found people in need of the latest issue of X-Men.
The sound quality is a bit spotty due to the circumstances under which it was recorded.
