I can’t wait until Amazon ships me my copy. And while annoying that I can’t access their page, it bodes well for Paizo. Personally, I want Pathfinder to crush 4E. 🙂
Just recived my copy today from the US Post Office, and all I can say is damn, this book is both massive and god awfuly impressive. My gaming group will defentily going to do a slight switch over. But I am very happy with the quality of the work, so all the people an Pazio, GOOD JOB!
Hope everyone likes it as much as I do.
@Tetsubo I don’t want to see 4e crushed, its just not good for my game group and I. Pathfinder is a joy. I’ll be integrating chunks of it but will also be leaving out a good bit. The Combat Maneuver stat looks like it will simplify a lot of things but the classes and races are a bit overpowered and I’ve got a lot of weird prestige classes in the mix.
(BTW, checked out your YouTube, pretty good stuff.)
@Alexi thanks for commenting! It is a beautiful piece of work, agreed. Still though, the best I’ve ever seen is one of my prize posessions: the hardcover single volume Ptolus by Monte Cook. Best design ever.
By the way, let me know what you think of the audio posts. I’ll be doing more of them if folks are enjoying it!
@Loki – Thanks. I guess I’m still bitter about what I saw as a bad move for D&D. 🙂
@Tetsubo It was a horrible move for DND, and canceling Dragon and Dungeon was a horrible move. Those two wrongs have made a right in this instance as those business decisions by WOTC were the birth pains of Pathfinder.
Besides, I just don’t like the 4e rule set. To combat focused and facile. I am a Planescape DM after all, I appreciate nuance.
